re: sk8er boi. Avril's "she was a girl, he was a boy" thing is all well and good, but it's just so dull and predictable. I'm in a phase where I'm trying to find the incongruous poles of unlikely continuums. It's quite hard to think of new ones that feel fresh.

She was a carrot, he was an ice skate...
